The first Association of Landscape Architects of Yugoslavia (ALAY) was formed in 1983. The Head Office was in Dubrovnik. In 1987 it became a member of IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects). After the break-up of the former Yugoslavia in 1996, the Head Office moved to Belgrade and changed the name first in Association of Landscape Architects of Serbia and Montenegro and, in 2006, in Association of Landscape Architects of Serbia.

In 25 years of activity, the Association counts 205 individual and 9 collective members.

3rd Landscape Architecture Exibition - Jury Report

A total of 103 works was received for the 3rd Exhibition of Landscape Architecture in 2009,  and after the selection of the Commission 70 works were chosen and entered the contest for rewards.

3rd Landscape Architecture Exhibition – Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009, at 6 pm in the "Ikar" Gallery, Club of Aviation, Štrosmajerova street no. 3, Zemun, Belgrade, Serbia. Ceremony progam:

On Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 6pm, at the same gallery, will be held.

  • SPECIAL PRESENTATION by PUPA (Young Student Association of Landscape Architects).
  • LECTURES by Simon Rackhman: "Landscape Architecture - Changing Perspectives" (examples from United Kingdom and Greece)

 

3rd Landscape Architecture Exhibition

February 3, 2009

The exhibition will take place in Belgrade, from 2nd till 14th September 2009. The organiser is the Serbian Association of Landscape Architects.The place of the event  is The IKAR Gallery, Club of Aviation, Zemun, Belgrade, Serbia.

The content of the exhibition are plans of all categories, designs, studies and research on the landscape architecture, publications, student projects of all kinds.

Possible participants: Professionals (individuals, groups or offices) engaged in the field of landscape architecture and Students (individuals or groups from all the faculties dealing with landscape architecture).

Material should be submitted until Friday, 29th May 2009.
